Focus of Research
Our lab is commited to research in the field of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
We are dedicated to the study of contact allergies, atopic dermatitis, and the neurocutaneous regulation of itch. For this purpose, we use novel 3D full-thickness skin models and integrate primary immune cells from donors and patients.
Furthermore, we focus on novel in vitro and in vivo diagnostic procedures for allergies. In this context, we are particularly interested in elucidating the immunopathomechanism of the oak processionary moth (OPM).
